After years of playing in bands, "Volvelle" was created as the solo/studio project of Shawn Jenkins of Columbus, OH. Shawn writes, performs, programs, records and produces everything himself.
When his last band, "Darkwright," split up, singer, Tony Molla, and Shawn continued to make music under the "Darkwright" name. Shawn did all the music and production for "Darkwright", and Tony did the vocals. After completeing 1 album, some time passed where Shawn continued writing songs. Shawn and Tony lost contact for a while, and during that time Shawn wanted to do something with the new material that was piling up. That is when he decided to do his own vocals. That is how "Volvelle" came to be.
