Born in Philadelphia, PA into a large family of singers, songwriters, and musicians, J was your typical late bloomer. Moving from the Philadelphia area to New York City at the age of 12 exposed J to a much livelier artistic atmosphere and helped him begin to form his own unique musical style.

J''s debut independant release "Bare Necessities" is long overdue. The songs paint a picture of a young man longing to love and to be loved. J "bares" his soul with the hopes of inspiring those with similar desires to continue in their search for love, peace and happiness or what J likes to call... the "Bare Necessities".
