Details:
Berklee College of Music professor of piano and harmony, Ray Santisi created the arrangements presented with these jazz standards featuring Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and other composers of the Tin Pan Alley and Harlem renaissance era. Greg Loughman [bass] and Gary Johnson [drums] joined the quartet in 2006 and the first Sunday of each month, this trio teams up with Patricia Adams singing at Ryles Jazz Club where she has performed for almost a decade. Ryles'' sound engineer, James "Kamal" Jones recorded this album live during the March and April 2008 brunches. Many of you were there.
For Frankie V and Aimee who gave me a chance when no other venue would return my phone calls, and for Fred Taylor who suggested Ryles in the first place. Thank you.
