Folk/Rock/Country/Jazz / New Age / R & B / Fusion. Warm your heart & soothe your soul with this beautiful music, inspired by the very essence of the spirit over many years as a performing musician and a lifetime of powerful emotions of every color.

My Bio: I was born and raised in a small farming village in Germany in the Mosel, Saar, Ruwer river area located in the middle part of Germany close to the French, Luxembourg border. I started singing about the same time as I started talking. My father and maternal grandfather were both musically talented and my mother, aunts and uncles had natural talents in acting and comedy.

While they all enjoyed performing and generating lots of fun and enjoyment with their various talents, in there opinion it was always understood that the performing arts was no way to earn a living for any dignified person. Nor was it any way to earn a decent living. One of my cousin’s husbands was an educated musician, and provided obvious proof to this theory with his continual struggle to survive by the use of his musical skills. Even though my secret desire was to become a professional performer, I learned very early that there would be no support from anyone toward such a goal, except only for fun.

I joined the children’s school and church choir at the age of ten and enjoyed folk, classical, and spiritual music throughout my early childhood. During my teenage years, I loved listening to rock and roll, operettas, and musicals. At 21, I moved to New York and got involved with acting and modeling and loved listening to R&B, Jazz, Country, Spiritual music, and Blues.
At that time, I studied metaphysics, psychology. I then moved to Hawaii in 1971 and studied Shamanism and fell in love with Hawaiian music. I started seriously studying the guitar and took vocal lessons for a year from 1975 to 1976, after which I started playing the Honolulu, Waikiki circuit.

I started writing lyrics at the age of fourteen but didn''t begin composing and arranging until my early 20''s. I completed some of my songs once I became more proficient on the guitar in 1976. I''ve been writing, composing, arranging, recording, and performing my own music since then.
In 1978, I was introduced to the Gabby Pahinui family and got intimately involved with one of the sons for a period of 15 years. During this time, I learned a lot about Hawaiian music first hand from the very best. I performed in Waikiki for many years at most of the hotels. My longest engagement being at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for two years. I also performed at many benefits and concerts for over five years and a lot of special events on the Islands.

My songs are an expression of my feelings about people and dreams I''m very fond of. They also are about key experiences in my life. My classical influences are Mozart, Bach, Bethoven, Heiden, Puccini, and many more. My more popular influences are Neil Diamond, Ray Charles, Bett Midler, Linda Ronstead, Otis Redding, Wilson Picket, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchel, George Benson, Mahalia Jackson and Nat King Cole. My local Hawaiian influences range from Gabby Pahinui and Sons (Blah, Cyril, Martin, and Phil), Sonny Chillingsworth, Dennis Kamakahi, Joe Gang, Genoa Keawe, to all the well known old timers who helped me along the way.
