At the ripe old age of 8 years and running The Jeffrey Allens is no batch of newbies. 8 years of line up, style and name changes has led to an 8 member powerhouse of horn enabled dirty rock and punk. Make no mistake, this isn''t a ska band... this isn''t just a punk band... it''s the blending of 8 varied musical tastes.
The crew started as The Skavangelistz: a positive, catchy ska band with a mind to change the world through musical goofery. After playing a whole heap of shows in Northeast Ohio and surrounding states the band decided to take a perminent break after 5 years.
That was until the summer of 2006 when 5 of the original 7 members, and 3 new members decide to revive The Jeffrey Allens. Growing up led us to a musical evolution and the need to create, perform and connect with people.
Standing in the back of the venue bored will not be an option. Fear not... you will smile with us.
