Ice Mone accomplished all of this through his own independent label, I.M.R. (Ice Mone Records).
In 1995. Ice Mone returned back to the music scene with his sophomore album entitled (The Freeza Chamba) a combination of 12 hot tracks. Those tracks caught the attention of a California music label (Solar Music Group) S.M.G. which also housed artists C-Bo, The Click, E-40 and also Master P just to name a few. With steady record sales, Ice Mone was still hungry ton learn more about the music industry. He moved to Atlanta and quickly built strong relationships with other artists and executives an learned the style of the "dirty south". A brotherhood bond resulted.
In 2001, Ice Mone joined forces with a Milwaukee based label "No Salary Cap Records" and was named the Vice President of operations. He produced the first artist of No Salary Cap, Niccademus of South Carolina. During this project, Ice Mone reconnected with his own passion for music.
In 2002, with his third album, "Cold Blooded," he collaborated with his newly formed Atlanta brotherhood, The Ying Yang Twins and DJ Smurf. The song, "Shorty Thick" would evlve into a history making anthem in Milwaukee. He received over 1000 radio spins and was the first independent artist, not signed to a major label to perform at V-100''s Jam for Peace, later that year. With the support of the Illinois based Midwest Artist Distribution (M.A.D.), Ice Mone has sold over 10,000 units across both the South and Midwest.
