The Meaning of Green is the epic tale of one year together--a chronicle of all that has happened in a few lives over the past 12 months.
Singer/pianist Lea Fischer, multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Luc Trout, and violinist Ben Sweedler started Autumn Weathered in the fall of 2007 as an experimental project that cycloned into something much bigger, as relationships evolved and new songs were birthed.
The ideas and music slowly formed a kind of concept album: a story about Ewiger Juni, or Eternal June. About the coming and awakening of Spring, the procession of time towards this symbolic month, and the incredible intensity of the march towards this point. One Spring day in 2008, the efforts of AW turned into their first studio album, and The Meaning of Green was born.
