Mr. Saxophone is a children''s musical entertainer from St. Louis. Since 1997 he has been performing at local preschools, libraries, and various children''s events.
"Sing and Dance with Mr. Saxophone" (2002) represents a cross-section of music from his live show recorded in a studio. There are many traditional dances like the "Duck Dance", dance medleys like "Folkie Dance-along", as well as new dance ideas like "Whoa Horsie Whoa" and "A''Rovin'' Winds"
The record also features a few original songs with catchy melodies that children will find easy to pick up on.
The final two tracks are sound-scapes intended for background sound or to use as a lullaby to help a restless child to sleep.
"Sing and Dance with Mr. Saxophone" received a Children''s Music Web Award in 2003.
