Details:
"Vortex" is The Hyperion Circle''s first electronica album (not dance) inspired by great electronica masters like Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream (Berlin School), Pink Floyd and others. This album''s conceptual roots may be traced back to the pioneering synthesizer music of the Seventies along with Space-rock and prog-rock groups such as Pink Floyd, Camel, etc. All songs are written and performed by composer/multi-instrumentalist Orlando Blanco (The Blanco Project).
The songs range from Berlin School pieces; (Vortex parts 1 and 3) with ondulating sequenced bass lines and surreal atmospheres, to melodic Vangelis-type songs ( Vortex parts 2&4 ) to more space-rock tunes (Vortex parts 5 & 7-"Waiting for the Vortex") with some electric guitar added for more expression.
Enjoy the music.
