Details:
Listen to Terry Daily perform 12 original songs. Variety keeps you interested with the easy, melodic flavors and rhythms of Country-Cajun, Country-Blues, and Bluegrass-Gospel.
First song on the CD…”Louisiana Bride”…was written by Terry for his daughters…one now married and living in Louisiana. The reviewer for THE PORT ARTHUR NEWS wrote: “This catchy dance number ought to be a new standard for any wedding party serving boudin and gumbo. It’s bound to make a few pappas misty-eyed when it’s time to give the girl away”.
“Are You Working Like The Devil For The Lord”, “Take Me On A Journey”, “Somebody Must Be Praying For Me”, and “Honey In The Rock” are Bluegrass-Gospel style tunes. “Vicky’s Bible” is Terry’s tribute to the extraordinary woman who is teaching him to have faith in God. “Passing Of The Train” is a nostalgic mourning of the many disappearing passenger trains. The sweet song “Sugarcane” captures a soft, lazy southern day, while rhythms of “Here Comes Trouble”, “My Own Blues”, and “Ain’t Nothin’ New About The Blues”, are Country-Blues with a Delta influence.
You will enjoy hearing warm, shy, likeable Terry Daily as he affectionately plucks, strums, picks and becomes part of his musical instruments in the recording. His heart, emotion and humor fill the pleasant vocals. Rick Simmons, Terry’s friend, provides the drumming, the only instrument Terry did not play. All recording was done at The Musik Faktory Recording Studio in Port Arthur, Texas.
