I have been a professional musician for nearly 40 years and spent most of the 70’s touring with the regionally successful “Live Wire Choir”, a newgrass and western swing group. With several solo albums. my most recent recordings are “Talk to the Paw” (2005), “Lies of Love” (2006) & "Glory Days" (2007). The Rocketdogs is my latest venture. With my feet in both the electric and acoustic world I need to satisfy both outlets and this new disc is one that I''ve wanted to make for a while. So with a few of my good musician friends: Ted Lowe on rhythm acoustic giutar; Mike Freemole on bass: Bruce Threlkeld on drums and Larry Chung on pedal steel guitar, I''ve bent them to my will one more time for this latest batch of songs. I think of these songs as kind of soap-opera songs with an up-tempo party feel and on the liner notes I''ve suggested to "Please play this record loud"
