Details:
It all started at four, when Kaveh finally could sit on the piano bench and play the piano with his fingers rather than with a spoon or stick or whatever he''d used up until then to reach up and hit the keys. It all started when Kaveh was four. He has trained with his mother, Shahla Nikfal Mofrad, since then.
During the early years, it was all old-fashioned piano playing. A little Suzuki method here, a tiny bit of Little Thompson''s Piano guide there, and of course, a dash of Hannon exercises sprinkled every now and then to keep up finger posture. It wasn''t until Kaveh was nine that he dove into the world of composition; that''s when he wrote his first piece. Since then, composition became Kaveh''s passion.
Over the next couple years, Kaveh developed a unique style of creating music. He had never taken music theory, but rather relied on his own interpretation of how specific tones and melodies sound next to one another. He further strengthened and developed this ability until his talents were recognized.
Today, at the age of 17, Kaveh continues to compose using the same method. Since 2001, several compositions later, Kaveh was invited to record his pieces in Paris, France during the summer of 2007. After 13 months of work, Kaveh Sadeghian''s debut album has finally been released.
In a way, it''s really all just about to start.
