I was born in a small town in Southeastern Minnesota where I developed many of my creative ideas and styles. Coming from a musical family, music has always been a big part of my life. Throughout Junior High and High School I played trumpet and baritone. Then, in college, transitioned to tuba. My interest in musical composition led me to the piano, where I developed my own styles. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in music education.
Many of the songs on this album represent material written over a period of several years. It is with the advent of new electronic instruments that I was able to find the right sounds (colors) to enhance many of these songs. It is my hope that you would enjoy listening to these as much as I enjoyed creating them.
