Brief but remarkable line notes for our issue, album (CD or digital sale) “E’ Quasi Sera”.
We the authors and musicians Andrea Imparato (sax & flute), Fabio Ricco (acoustic bass),
Glauco Bionducci (piano) would like to explain some aspects of this item.
The album is build upon the vehicle of the main afro-american Jazz sound, but has the
Character of original compositions oriented to the very acoustic, european (both classical than
Folk-minded) musical tradition. We mean to explore by the music we wrote and improvised
Different atmosphere than the “mainstream jazz” usually runs. Scenarios like the french impressionists, or pianism by Michel Petrucciani, or some delicate sides by John Coltrane,
Or, else, some influences by songwriters and vocalist like Sergio Endrigo, Luigi Tenco…
Can not describe these songs (all instrumental) as well as the direct listening (you may check
The free samples on our page, 1 or 2 min. of each song.
Besides the leading musicians we told you above, in this album we (you!) have also Giulio Giangarè on drums, Armando Fiorenza on piano (only in one song) and the outstanding Trumpet
& flugelhorn by Marco Bartalini. Some accordion tasteful notes are given by Livio Bernardini.
Thanks in advance for “visiting” our sincere work, which is involved by both musical and
Human (esistential!) sharing experience. Please visit us for next works in issue.
