Ted''s Warren Commission''s second cd was to be a program of new music featuring Dr. Music (Doug Riley) on organ and piano. Doug Riley passed away with less than a month before recording was to begin. The cd has become a tribute to this great Canadian artist. There are four songs featuring Doug. Three of the tracks are from a CBC Jazz Beat recording and an additional one is from a concert at Humber College. The remaining compositions, far from being a somber affair, reflect Ted’s Warren Commission’s growth as a band as they explore new forms and time signatures while keeping their sense of humour.
