Gary Callahan was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada.
When he was ten years old he moved to Stephenville Newfoundland with his parents.
He started playing music at a very young age and as soon as he was old enough he headed out to Alberta, Canada where he played in several bands for a number of years.
He yearned to be home in Newfoundland where most of his family still lived so he made the move in the early 90s.
He moved to Grand Falls-Windsor where he met a songwriter, Everett Adams,who wrote songs that suited Gary''s style of https://www.tradebit.comy and Everett collaborated on two recordings, After the Rain and Death on the Ice.
This recording After the Rain is a traditional country/bluegrass collection of songs.
Eight of the songs written by Everett and Gary chipped in with two of his own.
One of the songs was included on a mini series on CBC TV a few years ago.
