Livelectro are releasing their second record with new material that was created in the last two years. Some of the songs have been already played live; some of them found their own new form on the record.
Livelectro had a distinctive approach to music since the conception of the band. For a “closed circuit” organism, they are still very frank and “alive” on the inside. They do not follow the modern trends, and yet they manage to find their own distinctive sound in such a wide-range genre as IDM. Their profound approach to music calls for special attention – their music never fails to amuse. The long history of careful rehearsal work and significant experience of playing live reward the listeners with extremely dense and well thought-through sound that nevertheless has room for improvisation.
Each live concert is a very serious job, since practically every single bit of sound is being synthesized in real-time onstage. The band pays much conceptual attention to its own sound. Quite often the show is supported by a video, projected on-stage or even a live feed from several cameras, which has long since become the classic of the genre. Each composition has a special importance and both musicians (Victor Gazky and Sergey Losev) are willing to tell you a story behind it. The new album has eight such stories. And one more yet.
Their first record – 02.03.04 was released 4 years ago and found its followers both around the world and at home, in Russia, where it was selling successfully.
