Details:
An independent recording artist from the UK, Hormone has been producing ethnic influenced dance electronica since the early-1990s, focusing away from commercial releases to concentrate instead on showcasing own tracks alongside his DJ sets at free underground techno parties around Europe.
In 1996, one of his more uplifting trance tracks "Prophecy of Survival" has been released on the critically acclaimed "Dance Mutiny" compilation on BMG Ariola/News Records also featuring Moby, Björk, The Shamen, Dance2Trance (DJ Dag), Joi, Cosmic Baby, CJ Bolland and Dave Angel, to help fund the Centrepoint drug rehabilitation programmes.
This latest remix album, a cross-genre collection of ethnic inspired psytrance, uplifing club anthems, hard-edged breaks and drum''n''bass, is a long awaited follow-up to that event, this time with the aim of raising money for Survival International, a charity which helps the world''s tribal peoples to defend their lives, their ancestral lands and to determine their own futures.
So immerse yourself in the magical vocal soundscapes, infectious beats and tantalisingly changing moods of one of the most unforgettable sonic trips you are ever likely to embark on, and if you dare to search deeper underneath the surface, you will discover an inspiration.
“Prophecy of Survival” is a gem, it tells a story, it has a vision.
One we are all a part of.
Enjoy !!!
