Lefty was known as a prolific artist & songwriter , with inductions into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Songwriter''s Hall of Fame as well as a 10 ft bronze statue in his honor from the state of Texas. His brother, Grammy Nominated, ACM & CMA award-winner as well as two-time song of the year honors is David Frizzell.
