We could see the mountain across the river, from the back windows of the https://www.tradebit.com the summertime my Mom would call me to come see the sunset."Come see come see-Come on honey-Come see how beautiful it is!"She''d https://www.tradebit.com was so intent that I see https://www.tradebit.comerly I''d look out the https://www.tradebit.com was https://www.tradebit.com reds and oranges from the setting sun filled the western horizon and we''d watch as the sun sank below https://www.tradebit.com was so happy to see a thing of such wonder and https://www.tradebit.com so was I.I think what made her even happier was that I saw https://www.tradebit.comt she had made it possible for me to see that beauty and https://www.tradebit.com was happy to share that with https://www.tradebit.com I was happy to be there with her. In fact in those moments you might say- we were happy together.
The mountain
was green in the summer and in the morning the the sun''s eastern light would illuminate it revealing yet another of it''s https://www.tradebit.comn as a kid I wasn''t an "early bird" by any https://www.tradebit.com the morning''s peacefulness and quiet always appealed to https://www.tradebit.comre was something very special about it.
Sometimes there were thunderstorms during the https://www.tradebit.com great clouds of mist might descend upon the mountain and cover it https://www.tradebit.coms happened only https://www.tradebit.com when it did it fascinated me https://www.tradebit.com fact I had the secret hope that such an occurence would take place every time it https://www.tradebit.com didn''t https://www.tradebit.com when it did-I felt I had seen something truly wondrous and https://www.tradebit.com was as if God or heaven were coming down to earth.I can remember that happening one time and the rain was accompanied by tremendous claps of https://www.tradebit.com shook the kitchen.I was https://www.tradebit.com somehow I liked it https://www.tradebit.com attracted me,even though, like I say,I knew it was dangerous and it frightened https://www.tradebit.comll I wished it would happen again! There was something powerful, even terrible, yet majestic and glorious in that thunder and lightning.
In the autumn the leaves all turned https://www.tradebit.com so it seemed the mountain itself was turning https://www.tradebit.com the beauty of the autumn leaves is a whole other https://www.tradebit.com I''ll tell you about that some time. But for now,I''ll just say that in the winter you could see the snow on the https://www.tradebit.comre were no leaves on the https://www.tradebit.com was deathly https://www.tradebit.com there was something truthful in that nakedness that I found deeply gratifying.
One thing I should day about the mountain is- if you saw it you might say "that''s not a mountain." and really it''s https://www.tradebit.com''s more like- a https://www.tradebit.comch is what it is.A https://www.tradebit.com to me-when I looked at it-it was a https://www.tradebit.com those quiet solitary moments when I''d look out the back porch windows and watch the seasons change-it was a https://www.tradebit.com after a while I think I sensed something.I knew something without really knowing https://www.tradebit.comt there was something more to it https://www.tradebit.come to the https://www.tradebit.come to the https://www.tradebit.come to me and my little https://www.tradebit.come to all that was going on around us in the https://www.tradebit.com that something or someone was-God.
In the springtime the mountain was so https://www.tradebit.com the air was fresh and https://www.tradebit.com sunlight played on the radiant blue sky and white fluffy clouds.

The Hudson Valley

See the sunrise over the Hudson Valley
And the river come flowing to the sea
Hear the birds nesting in the tree tops
Singing in the valley so green

They are singing the song of this valley
Of the blue sky the clouds and the trees
How the sun sets down over the Catskills
And blesses this valley so green

From way up their in the Adirondacks
From way up there in Lake Tear of the Clouds
From way up there in the Opalescent River
The waters come flowing on down
