I’m an independent songwriter/musician from Louisville, Kentucky, USA, and Collapsible Model is my band, although I’m the only member. Several years ago, I started writing songs and doing home recordings — mostly instrumentals with acoustic guitar, sometimes adding a 2nd guitar part or maybe a keyboard part. Then my world changed. I acquired a drum kit! After honing my chops a bit, I realized I could start recording music as a "full band". So I began recording new songs, doing all of the writing, playing, vocals & recording myself. The songs were mixed by Mr John Schroeder (he also added some synth triggers in Dim Light Radio Night).
These songs were heavily influenced by 4 albums: Electric Warrior, Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust and If You Want Blood You’ve Got It.
