Details:
Casey the Puppy''s Memorial Album is a CD I wanted to make to celebrate a friend of mine, Casey the Puppy, who passed
away October 1st, 2007 at the age of 14. Casey was a female Keeshond we got as a puppy, and she had some
hard times as she got older. But whatever troubles she had, she was always a good friend, and I wanted to acknowledge
her passing.

Initially I was going to put 14 songs on one CD, but as I started recording, I added a few more songs, so that I had too many songs for one CD.

I liked this particular mix of songs, so I decided "what the
heck" - it''s a good CD - go with it. So I''m releasing this set as a CD, part 1, and will follow it up with a second CD with a number of songs that focus on Casey as an older dog.

All the songs aren''t about puppy''s, but they are all about puppies, or Life, or growing older, and in some way I associate them with Casey. For instance, the first track - "Wheelchair by the Door" is about recognizing the beauty of older and poorer people and their remarkable lifes. I wouldn''t have come up with this song but for taking care of Casey, as she got older, and then seeing in my Uncle, my late Grandmother, other people I met those same admirable traits. An other example "Tin Whistle Jam" is an instrumental version of the song "Casey the Puppy" off my first CD. So you''re not going to hear a bunch of dog
songs. Rather it is several songs that have an association
in my mind with a friend, and you might not see the connection, but it''s their, somewhere. Track Seven, "Puppies
in the Shade" is about a puppy (in the shade even) so it''s
not like total false advertising, it''s just not a dog album, it''s a memorial to a real dog, Casey, the Puppy.

Generally, if you can honestly say "Life Sucks", chuckle, and go out and fight the good fight another day - you''re know where I''m coming from.
