Composer, songwriter and singer, Denis Taithe was born in the South of France. Brought up to the sound of Brassens, Brel and Barbara, famous artists in France, his passion for music developed in the 70''s, after listening to Simon and Garfunkel''s first "best of" album and the Beatles'' "Red" album.
Arranger and playing a number of musical instruments, he created a band "court métrage", with his friend Remy Vaganay and together they wrote two albums: "rêves" and "accords défendus".
Some of their music being used in adverts, they were contacted by an English Band, The Rubettes, who used their music in one of their songs.
Early 2000, Denis went solo, and created his first album: Eponyme, a blend of Jazz, Bossa and Folk.
He then created the new band "Le Manege de Lola" (Lola''s Merry-Go-Round)and is now regularly playing in bars, clubs and festivals throughout France.
