Neon Joseph released their first EP, "Play Me Loud," in 2003. It was entirely written, recorded, and produced in their hometown of San Luis Obispo, CA with just the band and a small group of close friends, and every copy of the disc was hand-made by the band. The remaining few copies are now available for a limited time, but the music is now available to all online.
Play Me Loud is a blue-print for Neon Joseph''s 2004 follow-up, "Seven Towers" (also available on CD Baby and through many major digital retailers). Layered keyboards and guitars are laid on a solid bass and drums foundation, with quirky lo-fi beat machines.
