Details:
It is a misty place and time that the Foggy Gulch Band explores in its debut album Fogged In, blending folk, bluegrass, and country songs spanning eight decades of American music from “I’ll Fly Away” (1929) to “Brand New Heartache” (2005). In between, first-generation bluegrass from the 1950s is represented by “Uncle Pen,” and the 1960s folk revival is recalled by “Louise” and “April Come She Will.” The late 1960s and early 1970s bring in the contemporary bluegrass of “Old Home Place” and “Don’t Let Your Sweet Love Die.” The classic country rock of “Love Reunited” represents the 1980s, while “Rain, Please Go Away” and “Tear My Stillhouse Down” are pulled from the 1990s. The new millennium gives us “It Rains Everywhere I Go,” “Wayside/Back In Time,” and “Brand New Heartache.”
Enjoy the sweet harmonies and gentle sounds of Foggy Gulch...
