His Father and Grandfather both were fine musicians and helped Chris learn to play at an early age of six years old. The family was big into fishing,hunting and playing music. Chris started writing music at the age of fourteen. His days on the water became evident in his music long before he ever heard of Jimmy Buffett. His music has a real life feel of the everyday waterman. Chris Bellamy is also known as Captain Chris Bellamy and owns three charter boats and a hunting camp outside of Sebastian,Florida. Spending his summers and early fall in the Carolina''s and winters in south central Florida, Chris covers a wide range of venues.
