White swan with wide open beak feeding directly from hand

Swan-of-summer or mute swan (Cygnus olor, Gmelin) is among the best known species of swans and can be seen in the lakes in parks,in zoos or collectors of birds, thus living under captivity and often being semi-domesticated. As you can see they are very friendly and not afraid to approach people so that they can be fed directly from the hand. This makes them an attraction for both children and adults. Swan-of-Summer is one of the largest flying birds with body length of 125-170 cm, a wingspan of 200-240 cm and a height of 1.2 m with a very long neck. Their beak is reddish orange top and black base with a pronounced tuft at the top. Swans have serrated beak with small sharp corner, with which they catch food. Our protagonist has the beak wide open, greedy eyes and neck stretched at maximum to grab the appetizing piece of bread.
