This is the Debut CD for Ms. Yovanovich on the Prince Production Inc label.
Amy Yovanovich started singing as a child participating in school and church choirs throughout Central Pennsylvania. She studied with Mr. John Darrenkamp of the Metropolitan Opera Company in New York City and with Ms. Kyle C. Engler, Mezzo Soprano, from Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. Yovanovich has been the recipient of numerous scholarships from the Pennsylvania Academy of Music and has performed many opera with regional opera companies in Lancaster, Harrisburg, and Reading, Pennsylvania, including, Cosi fan tutte, Carmen, The Little Sweep, The Marriage of Figaro, Iolanthe, and Street Scene.
Ms. Yovanovich was the recipient of the prestigious Oxnard Gold Medal, First Place Award in the American Traditions Competition in Savannah, Georgia, sponsored by Savannah On Stage. She was Honorable Mention at the Metropolitan Opera District Auditions, finalist in the National Federation of Music Clubs Competition, and winner of the Connecticut Opera Guild Competition.
