Details:
The Stockwell Brothers, Bruce, Barry, and Al, call their music ''folk rock and newgrass.'' They use acoustic and electric guitars, five string banjo, mandolin, bass, and percussion to create a stylistically diverse, acoustic oriented sound based in folk and bluegrass and flavored with rock, funk, and world beat rhythms and arrangements. Bruce and Barry got their first national exposure with two Flying Fish LP''s, with Mike Auldridge and Phil Rosenthal of the Seldom Scene, under the name ''Old Dog''.
"A real find... the group is excellent... a superb album" Washington Post "Very talented, inventive players." Guitar Player "The trio singing is tight and the instrumentals are superb... a welcome addition to the national scene."
