Details:
The music of Seventy Two Others is not easily classified, but through the rotating roster of band members and numerous side projects, one constant has remained: the band creates intimate moments with their music and invites their audience to share in the experience. By sharing heart-felt lyrics and stories on stage, Seventy Two Others creates a very comfortable and peaceful atmosphere for their listener. And with Keen and Reeb''s ability to switch instruments at the drop of a hat, their shows remain ever-changing.
Since 1999, Seventy Two Others has played with a host of highly regarded musicians and bands, including Denison Witmer, Miranda Stone, Viking Moses, Tree by Leaf, Michael Heaton, Pete Krebs, Brad Yoder, Madison Greene, Sleeping at Last, and Switchfoot.
In late 2004, Keen and Reeb revisited some of their older, unreleased material, and most of those songs found their way onto their 2005 EP, Hard to Find, including the title track which Reeb wrote in 2001. Hard to Find may spark some memories from the band''s previous years, but Keen and Reeb hope this album keeps the listener''s eyes and ears straight ahead- this album marks a new chapter for this beloved Chicago duo.
