Details:
John Ludington was awarded Best New Talent at Syracuse Area Music Awards, with his band, Barefoot Gravediggers, in 1993.
In 2001 he released his solo album.
“Clouds Today is distinctive. A stellar achievement for a solo artist. It is whimsical, fully self-actualizing and cutting edge.” -Culture Art Rag Critic, Jacques Laiberte
John composed a soundtrack for an acrobatic-stilt-walking troupe, Carpetbag Brigade, which he performed live on tour in summer ''04.
Culminating from a lifetime of eclectic experiences as an artist, John Ludington is a singer songwriter to be watched and heard in all of his diverse sides as a performer.
As a spectator, you may be witness to a young mans plight in a brothel set in 1910 or bouncing in a nursery to “Tumble Bunnies” where rabbits are running roughshod through the minds of toddlers. Then you’re furiously rocking out while “searching for the man who maxed out my credit card” on the web in “Cyber Psychic”. Before you know it you are confronted with a longing for impossible love, evoked in “Gallery Beyond Words” and then happily dancing to the doom of the petroleum industry in “The Color of the Road - It’s Sticky Black”.
John Ludington and his drummer recently formed The Tao Jonesers. He can be seen performing solo, or with his band, in Northern California, where he lives.
