Details:
Ron Polson and Laurie Lewis have been friends for many years, starting back in their native New Zealand. They both moved to Sydney Australia for a number of years, but lost touch when Ron moved to Port Macquarie and Laurie went to live in Melbourne.
Luaire and his wife Alwyn are songwriters, and when they had written a bunch of new numbers they searched around for a suitable singer to commit them to disk. It was then that, remembering the many times they had worked with Ron in New Zealand and Sydney, they decided to seek him out. After many months of planning and preparation, "That Old Feeling" was born.
A TYPICAL REVIEW.
"Saloon singer down https://www.tradebit.comer the guise of one Ron Polson, American Songbook vocal interpreter extraordinaire. Ron''s a wonderful exponent of our classis standards.......
His vocal talents are admirably straight ahead. His phraseology and feeling for a song are both emotive and compelling. Ron along with his group delivers his music with a lyrical lushness, while the group tendeRs their backup with a soft complementing dynamism. We need his type of vocalese here in the USA."
