Details:
I love Christmastime. Don’t you? The only thing I don’t love about these holidays that come this time each year is hearing the same old Christmas Carols over and over and over again. So I decided to record an album of songs that were composed in my lifetime (DOB 12/11/51) to honor the genius of Baby Boomer musicians.
Working with my producer, arranger and orchestrator, Perry Rossi of the Perry Rossi Orchestra and PearTree Music Productions (https://www.tradebit.com) we created this tribute to the great songwriters of the second half of the 20th century.
In this, my second CD, I’ve grown vocally (no thinking) and musically (I wrote lyrics here) and know I am a real singer: I hear the music, I feel the songs, and I share my stories.
Thanks to: Stevie Wonder, Johnny Mathis, Bill Nighy, Patti Austin, Michael Ball, Jose Feliciano, Karen Carpenter, Brenda Lee, The Chipmunks, Dan Fogelberg, the Beach Boys and Barry Manilow, the singers who inspired me in making “A Baby Boomer’s Christmas”.
My Christmas wish?
“Oh that we could always see such Spirit through the year” (from ‘Christmastime is Here’).
