Monica Ashton is a Los Angeles and San Francisco-based composer (originally from NYC). Her debut CD, The Monica Ashton Jazz Band, is a labor of love. Monica has assembled an incredible band to help bring out the best in her music. Her style has been likened to Brubeck, Bob James (he wrote "Taxi"), Vince Guaraldi (Peanuts) and Keith Jarrett.
