Songwriter Gerald Smith is from Statesboro, Georgia, and has resided in Nashville for the past eighteen years. A prolific writer, Smith has penned such number one songs as "What Part Of No Don''t You Understand" for Lorrie Morgan and "Every Second" for Collin Raye.
