Review: This being Sirah''s first solo project leaves, "Clean Window''s
Dirty Floor''s," as a defining body of work. It''s wit''s meets street''s
as this duo pairs up to bring you on an elaborate journey. Coupling
experience and audacity, this is an album that you can openly blare in
your car while submerged in rush hour traffic. Sirah''s voice is very
soothing, yet raw. As you refer back to the album cover you almost
wonder if Milli Vanilli''s men had something to do with this small pale
girl rapping. In today''s recent controversy over who is and who is
not "Hip-Hop," this EP clearly defines what would fit under the
notorious category; however, Sirah and Hoppa have put there own spin
on things. A song off the EP entitled, "Addict," features Sirah''s late
father who was a rock and roll musician before and throughout her
childhood. "Stop With the Advice," is a witty true to life account
of the depth''s of two worlds. The first portrays what its like to be a
"white, female rapper" in today''s day and age. While the second talks
about underground hip-hop and how the "scene" perceives success. If
your so quick to judge an album by it''s cover, take my word and
purchase the EP. You won''t regret it.
