When I was a teenager and heard the roar of applause at a local Variety Show I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I''ve been lucky enough to play my clarinet in jazz ensembles, concert bands, and symphony orchestras. You can hear me on several CDs, including those by Albany Records'' Triple Play (Chris Brubeck, Joel Brown and Peter "Madcat" Ruth), and the TELARC release "Across Your Dreams" featuring Frederica von Stade. I had the privilege of performing with Dawn Upshaw at Carnegie Hall and the fun of playing Dixieland with Reggie''s Red Hot Feetwarmers at the Saratoga Springs Racetrack.
I have fulfilled many lifetime dreams and making this CD "Frank Brown turned loose" is one of them.
