V released his debut solo album in July of 2007. The album was written over the course of 3-4 years and contains direct influences by Badly Drawn Boy, Dave Brubek, The Doves, Radiohead, Ben Harper, Coldplay, Elliott Smith, Simon and Garfunkel, Jeff Buckley and the Beta Band.

V likes to think his music can survive the review of critics and regular listeners.
