Details:
Sarah Morgann is a young vocalist from North Carolina. Her classical voice training comes from Dan Truhitte, famed for his movie role of Rolf in The Sound of Music. She has been singing solo since the age of six, from simple school productions to lead musical roles. The requests for Sarah’s performances became so many by the age of twelve that she decided to record some songs, and this resulted in creating a CD, Sarah Morgann.
This led directly to recording with Marvin Goldstein, famed concert pianist. Their first collaboration, Journey of the Soul, has been tremendously successful.
Their second album together, Angels We Have Heard On High, outsold the others. After an inspiring trip to perform in Israel, Marvin and Sarah recorded a third CD, Life of Christ, which was released in 2002. The songs chronologically follow the extraordinary life and earthly ministry of Jesus Christ.
Sarah’s fifth CD, Voices of Nauvoo, is a celebration of the new Nauvoo, Illinois LDS temple and the people throughout the past who worked so hard to build it.
Her newest CD, Cantatrice, is a compilation of Sarah’s favorite classic love songs. On this CD, Sarah collaborates once more with Marvin Goldstein and sings two special numbers with her friend and mentor, Dan Truhitte.
Currently, Sarah travels and performs at firesides, youth conferences, and special programs worldwide. She frequently performs with Marvin Goldstein, and with Daniel Rona of "Holy Lands Revealed.”
Sarah’s voice has a plaintive, emotional quality that brings a poignant meaning to each of her selections. Her extensive range carries the listener through love and loss, joy and despair. Her sweet spirit reaches to the very heart of each song. Sarah has touched audiences across the United States and throughout the world.
