DAVID BLUE
David Blue was born in Opp, Alabama and grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He started his singing career at the age of 15 at Baker High School as part of the group Bakers Dozen, an elite chorus group. As part of the group he traveled to Nashville and competed in the National High School Chorus competition and won first place.
While in high school, David started singing with local bands in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. He frequented Paw''s Barn, Rebel Club, Executive Lounge, Country USA and Wild Wild West. At the age of 23 David Moved to Dallas, Texas where he cut his first CD "From The Heart" which sold over 3,000 copies locally. While in Dallas he has sung in Scooters where his first CD is still on the Juke Box. At the age of 24 David was asked to open for Tammy Cochran at the Rattle Snake Rodeo in Opp, Alabama. Since then, David has also performed and MC''d at the Wills Point Bluebird Festival. Some of the local Dallas places David has been performing at are Scooters, The Scoreboard, Main Street Bar, the Wylie Opry and on a recent cruise he was asked to perform. He has just completed and in the process of releasing his new CD "Son Of The South" which is currently beingplayed on several radio stations in Europe and Australia.
