Ms. Rices''s style is charmingly soothing and creates the warmth of a loving, nurturing companion, a musical grandmother caressing with her gentle, lyrical voice. Traditional folk, Native American, old English, and newly composed folk materialby Ms. Rice herself are included. Ms. Rice''s tunes and verses show sensitivity and connection with the feelings of the very young: tomorrow''s classic folk tunes!"Simple accompaniments include xylophone, metallophone, occasional guitar, and simple percussion to encourage listeners to sing and play along.
