Tommy Irvin''s music is a mix of Texas Americana,

Tommy pays loving, respectful homage to those “Old
School” masters and friends who were his greatest
influences, such as Johnny’s Horton, Cash and
Paycheck, Hank Snow, Hank Williams, Jim Reeves,
Hank Thompson, Buck Owens, Little Jimmy
Dickens, Tennessee Ernie Ford, George Jones,
Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Faron Young and
Roger Miller. Tommy wrote his first song at age 8.
He has written over 400 songs, recorded more
than 200 and over 100 have been published.
Tommy''s first single, That''s What Highways Are For, made the top 40 on the Texas Music Chart in
2003 and his new hit single, Don’t Give Johnny No Paycheck (You Give Johnny Cash), is getting
strong radio airplay and is shooting up the Texas Music Chart with a bullet! Tommy has shared the stage
