MP3 Lo Mass Republic - Poisoned Heart Machines
The band sits on huge qualities and this is a mighty fine moment in classic modern rock with an arena-rock edge. Imagine yourself a mix between U2, Dishwalla, Tonic, Travis and Oasis and you''re at the Carpark of Lo Mass Republic.

" * * * * " Lo Mass Republic decided to independently hire John Travis [Kid Rock, Juliana Theory, Social Distortion] to help record and produce their new album, Poisoned Heart Machines. The band sits on huge qualities and this is a mighty fine moment in classic modern rock with an arena-rock edge. Imagine yourself a mix between U2, Dishwalla, Tonic, Travis and Oasis and you''re at the Carpark of Lo Mass Republic. (when I wrote Carpark I also started to think of the danish band Carpark North who are quite close to the sound as well) The lead vocalist of the band Jesse Glick sits on one helluva strong voice and the production by John Travis is not what you think it would be when you see his name. It is much bigger and the piano/keyboards are much more integrated into the sound, which is not that common in his previous productions but it is perfectly done. This album is worth four bright shining stars. Really good stuff."

"This LA band of five has a deep and pure sound reminiscent of some of music''s greats. Influenced by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Bob Dylan, Lo Mass Republic has an appealing voice with killer guitar riffs that have girls throwing their panties on stage in hysterics."
