Each of these songs is inspired by people in David''s life that he esteems highly. His love for them has moved him to create this music.
David''s CD has a definate international flavor. The lyrics. in two languages, are very romantic. "Ayumi" and "Sakura" have Japanese overtones in the lyrics as well as the music. The CD is a danceable mix of Latin and Rhythm & Blues styles, full of soul and passion. David is equally at home in driving version of Jr. Walker''s "What Does It Take," as he is in the salsa "Chocolate O La Flor." A standout track is the showcase sax piece "Europa." This collection features highly crafted arrangements and some of LA''s finest musicians.
