Shelby grabs the reins and harnesses the party crowd with the catchy track Beer Tooth then showcases his vocally soaring range in the heart wrenching lyrics of Silence. Next he rocks the boat to the smooth grooves of a horn section reminiscent of Motown in the song Slow Row.
There is something here for everyone; just listen for the raw and gritty sounds in He’s My Dad, Country’s Inside of me, and Somethin’ Somethin’. Shelby once again finds his mark and puts his strong vocal stamp on the ballads of Clarence Greene and Our Last Memory.
