I am a 24-year old singer-songwriter from Sydney, Australia. My songwriting career began at the age of five years, around the time I started learning the piano. My first compositions were little tunes made up to impress my piano teacher. As I learned to play better, my writing took on the flavour of Australian art music. It wasn''t until I finished school that I wrote songs with lyrics.
Now, I''ve moved away from classical piano to more of a pop sound; though there are elements of a number of styles in my songs, such as folk, country, blues, jazz and soul. I have recorded twelve songs about my experience of growing up; learning about love, sadness and spiritual things. I have played in local wine bars and clubs and launched my album in front of a full house.
From here, I want to write and record more, and share my music with as many people as I can.
