MP3 Diablo's Dust - Living In Nowhere
A High-Test Percussion-Driven Americana Spectacle of Devilish Proportions
12 MP3 Songs
COUNTRY: Americana, FOLK: Progressive Folk
Details:
Tom and Sarah Kilts are the "damned duo" that make up Diablo''s Dust. A devilishly eclectic collection of Lo-Fi goodness, "Living In Nowhere" is their first widely released album.
In this outing, talented multi-instrumentalist Tom Kilts incorporates the baritone electric guitar, ukulele, mandolin, acoustic guitar, accordion, world percussion, and jazz organ into the mix. Sarah Kilts adds her own special brand of bass and backing vocals to the all-original songs.
During live performances, Tom takes turns playing acoustic guitar, banjo and mandolin-- all the while keeping time with one foot on the a bass drum and the other pedal-kicking a block and tambourine (yes, one man can do all that at once-- and it makes for a foot stompin'' spectacle of a good time!) Sarah plays bass, and both lend their vocals to a blend of high-test Americana/Progressive Folk originals and Old-Tymie covers.
