Details:
Connie Pachl hails from the Queen City of the Ozarks — Springfield, Missouri, where she studied performance and musical theatre. After her move to New York City, she quickly became "The Duplex Sweetheart" (the ORIGINAL Duplex, mind you!). She and Michael Brill began working steadily in several rooms in the city including Don''t Tell Mama and Palsson''s and under the protective wing of Erv Raible, the duo wowed audiences from Manhattan to Provincetown. During this time, Ms. Pachl was the recipient of one of BackStage''s first Bistro Awards for outstanding female vocalist. Connie took time off from these engagements to pursue theatrical endeavors. Her regional theatre credits include having performed Mama Rose in not one but three productions of Gypsy, Sally in Follies, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Princess Winnifred in Once Upon A Mattress and she toured the United States with the review SRO wherein she was a featured singer.
Connie made a reentrance with her show "Coming Through" in September and October of 1997 and was held over for November at the Greenwich Village cabaret Eighty Eight''s. Ms. Pachl''s debut CD Coming Through is a collection of original material by composer, musical director and long-time friend Michael Brill and a cornucopia of songs from the theatre and contemporary popular music.
Connie''s most recent triumph was her stint in "When The Lights Go On Again" which wowed new york audiences for 8 months off-broadway. Before that, Connie appeared in "Broadway - Our Way!" which garnered her a 2006 BackStage Bistro award for Best Performance In A Revue.
