11 MP3 Songs
BLUES: Funky Blues, ROCK: Funk Rock
Details:
Treasure Junkie, original rock trio from the Midwest, USA.
Over three years in the making, "Anathema" is ready to rock. Featuring 11 original tracks, "Anathema" has a great variety, displaying catchy pop hooks on "Cornea," complete with hand-claps, to crunchy layered guitars and double-bass rhythms on "Siren," funky slap and mixed-meter grooves on "The Worst Man" and "Reservoir," an acoustic ballad (with guest vocalist Amanda Williams) with "Abstruse," to a full-out choir harmonies on "Heaven''s Eyes," plus five other stellar recordings for your listening delight. Orgasms are not guaranteed, buy highly predictable, so it''s best to wear old clothes.
Recorded at Bridge Studio in Jamestown, Missouri, "Anathema" is a splendor of original talent and skilled production. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Matt Biermann and Shannon Davidson, guitars on the recording include a ''69 Tele Thinline, PRS Mark Tremonti, Godin, Nashville Tele, ''70s Goya, Fender Toronado, and many others, into Genz-Benz and Zinky amps, recorded with Royer 121 ribbon microphones. All bass tracks were recorded directly into Pro Tools HD-5 using a handbuilt Demeter VTMP, via Radial J-DI, with a Line6 Variax 705 five-string bass, using the Warwick Thumb and MTD 435 emulations, simultaneously tracked and layered on an SWR 2x10 combo. Drums parts were tracked live using a Drum Works Master Series kit with Shure and Sennheiser microphones.
