Ray Baldwin has been on the music scene for a while. He started playing trumpet at street dances and night clubs at the age of fifteen. It wasn''t long before he started performing with a twenty five piece orchestra which opened for many national acts that came to the Paramount Theatre in Seattle. The theatre brought groups and artist such as James Brown, BB King, Earth Wind & Fire and whoever was hot at the time.
As Ray studied theory and composition he began to realize his gift for writing songs. Soon he developed a smooth and pervasive style of trumpet playing that now has become his trademark. His songs combined with the sound of his horn will take you away. His compact disc entitled R Space displays his love for life, music and the world. Please take the time to sit and listen.
